
Requirements & Installation
Logger 2.0 is a professional recording solution that centralizes continuous audio stream capture and one-off event logging, enabling highlight tagging, automated archiving, and monitoring via web or mobile app.
It’s perfect for stations needing compliance, immediate backups, and rapid clip recovery.
Before you begin, ensure you have:
Operating System: Windows 8 or higher, with HTTP ports allowed through your firewall.
Minimum Hardware: Intel i3 processor, 4 GB RAM, and 60 GB free disk space (at 8 kbps) or 55 GB (at 32 kbps).
Active Playlist account to download the installer and license logger.
First Steps: Creating a Recorder
Navigate to the main dashboard and click “New Recorder”, then select your source type:
Audio Device (DirectSound/ASIO)
Web Stream (SHOUTcast/Icecast)
Remote Recording from another Logger
Fill in required fields (*): device, channel, ID, and station name. Choose mono/stereo mode and set the bitrate (8–320 kbps).


Timeline: Playback & Export
Open the Timeline view to:
Listen live or to past segments
Search by show title or metadata
Select a time range and click “Save” to export your audio clips
Saving and Downloading Events
Enable “Record Events Only”, then define event name, color, and timeslots. To retrieve:
Click the Events icon
Choose an event from the list
Hit “Play” or “Download” to get the clip


Notifications & Monitoring
In the Settings panel, configure email or push alerts for:
Prolonged silence detection
High CPU, RAM, or disk usage
Stream status (Online/Offline)
Audio device errors
Backup & Advanced Settings
Finally, under Advanced Settings, set:
HTTP/RTSP port numbers
Automated Backup folder paths
Interface language (EN/ES/PT)
License and update options
